Vardy Breaks Premier League Record!
Congratulations to Jamie Vardy who broke the record for goals scored in consecutive Premier League games with his strike against Manchester United yesterday. The Leicester City forward has hit 11 goals in 11 straight games to help his team to an impressive start the 2015/16 campaign. Key Sports’ new client Jordan Cousins has signed a new contract with Charlton Athletic. The 21-year-old was one of the Addicks’ star performers last season. Everyone at Key Sports would like to wish Jordan the best of luck for the coming season with Charlton and congratulations on signing his new contract.
Theo Walcott has signed a new four year contract at Arsenal. The England striker is the club’s longest-serving player, having arrived from Southampton in January 2006.
Key Sport client Ryan Inniss has returned to Port Vale on loan from parent club Crystal Palace.
The 20-year-old central defender returns on a season-long loan after his first visit was cut short by injury after only five games last season.
Key Sports Management client Lyle Della Verde has signed a 2 year deal at Fleetwood Town.
Lyle joins Fleetwood after leaving Fulham at the end of last season.
Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander said: “Lyle has been with us since the first day of pre-season. He has shown a fantastic attitude and he brings us something a little bit different in midfield.”
“He is a young player with lots of potential. He is hungry for the chance to play first team football so he is a great addition to a squad.”
“He is very comfortable on the ball. He can operate in various positions, he is mainly left footed but he is comfortable on his right. He will definitely be a player that will emerge into the first team if not starting. We have high hopes for him.”
Key Sports client Louis Reed has signed a new three-year contract with Sheffield United.
The midfielder is the youngest player to appear for the Blades in a league game, having made his debut against Rotherham aged 16 years and 257 days, and made 32 appearances last season.
Key Sports duo James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn have signed for Glasgow Rangers from Wigan for an undisclosed fee.
Fullback Tavernier and striker Waghorn have agreed long term deals at the club this afternoon. Everyone at Key Sports Management wishes both of them the best of luck north of the border.
Key Sports client Ben Pearson has joined Barnsley on six-month loan deal from Manchester United.
20 year old Pearson, returns to Oakwell after making 22 appearances on loan in 2014-15.
The former United Academy Player of the Year told Barnsley’s official website: “I had a great time here last season – making my professional debut – and want to pick up where I left off but help take us that one step further.”
Key Sports client Ross Turnbull has today signed a a two-year contract with Championship side Leeds United.
The former England youth international, joined Barnsley last July from Doncaster Rovers, in what was his third spell at Oakwell.
He began his career at Middlesborough, before moving to the capital to join Chelsea.
Everyone at Key Sports Management would like to congratulate Joe Gomez on his move to Liverpool Football Club. The 18 year old agreed a 5 year deal at the merseyside club today. The England under 19 international said, “It’s a dream come true. It’s a bit surreal and it hasn’t really hit me yet. But I’m buzzing and just excited to get started”. Joe made 24 appearance for Charlton Athletic last season and has previously won the 2014 European Championship in Malta with the England u17 side.
